"Order for subfloor never turned up after 2 days of waiting, without any contact from Mahoneys. When I called to chase, they claimed they had a wrong number for me (which was wrong - my correct number was on the order form), and that they didn't have anyone to cut the wood (no mention of this when order was placed) No apology for the inconvenience or problems it's caused for this job. Complete lack of customer service on every level."

"Don't buy their windows! I can't comment about other services they offer however I purchased several custom made oak windows from here as they were recommended by my builder at the cost of several thousand pounds and only when I contacted them less than two years later because they were leaking was I told that they couldn't do anything and they come with no guarantee whatsoever. Companies like Jeld-Wen offer 10 years as standard on all oak windows. They wouldn't even come out to have a look and after ringing a couple of times to politely ask for their help they ended up 'putting me through to the right person' each time I rang and conveniently cut me off. Absolutely terrible - they refuse any responsibility at all and now I have shoddy windows with cheap nasty window furniture that's rusting already. I've had to have them re-sealed and re-treated by a local joiner costing several hundred pounds as they were made so badly. Not good Mahoneys - you can't just turn your back on paying customers when it get's messy. Top tip - if they look dodgy when you get them, reject them before they're put in. I wish I had."
