"Nice friendly staff. Was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes after 35 minutes they explained they are having to redo my wife's medication (due to an incompetent Dr) Obviously very rushed off their feet. Despite people continuously asking questions and being irritated at the wait they're doing a great job."
"The staff were really kind and helpful. My daughter was very poorly and we arrived from a&e with a prescription just after they had closed & were going home, but they re-opened especially for us to make up the prescription for her and were really lovely & helpful. I was very thankful that they went out of their way to do this for us, when they had already finished for the day."
"The organisation is pathetic. People milling about on a tiny waiting area. Queuing is impossible and the chances of catching illness/Covid in there are higher than anywhere I’ve been throughout the whole pandemic. People just butt in front without asking as there are no processes in place. The staff are pleasant and helpful but the processes and systems in place are a disgrace. Lloyds: If you read this, you need to look at the same pharmacy at the MRI and learn a lesson on organisation. At least during previous periods you had a system in place, now it’s a free for all."
"Was give a prescription from clinic doctor at Oldham hospital. When I took it to phamacy at the hospital was told they don't stock it and to take it to my own GP to get it rewritten up. I called my GP surgery who told me to bring it in. When I got to my GP they said Oldham pharmacy should of sorted it. They should of not let me leave with out it. I rang clinic doc who wrote prescription and she was shocked at phamacy. Clinic doc told me to get a gp app in morning as I need meds ASAP. So I've wasted a GP app now due to phamacy fobbing me off. I experienced the very best of NHS yesterday. Can't fault any of Doctors/nurses i saw at Oldham. I also experienced the very chaotic. If I didn't have day off today I would of either had to take it off to sort this prescription out or sit around waiting for an infection to happen."
"Absolutely god awful service. First time I experienced the abysmal wait time was a few months ago now and was told it was just an oddly busy day. Every time since it’s been the same. 1-2 hour wait, people jumping the queue, not filling the prescription properly or fully. I’m high risk with a high risk pregnancy and I’ve been waiting at times for hours where there’s nowhere for me to go but loiter around the streets of oldham in the cold and rain. Downright dangerous policies and no choice to go anywhere else as prescriptions from the hospital can only be filled in this tiny, badly managed porta cabin. Something needs to be done."
