"Not turned up with my BP tablets. If I have a stroke it's on their heads."
"I've used this chemist for years as it's where my prescriptions go. It's such a small village chemist but I've never had any issues at all with them. I get a text when my prescription is ready and I'm only waiting a short time when I go in to collect. People need to understand patience and that the staff don't want people waiting. They are just very busy for a little chemist"
"Utterly useless as a local pharmacy to collect prescriptions from. The nearby doctors Awburn House defaults here with your prescriptions. It changed hands not long ago and it is now utterly, utterly useless. Every single time I go I am waiting 20-30 minutes for stuff that is supposedly *ready*. Orders are often incomplete requiring return visits. They have inadequate stock so many things have to be ordered. It takes them on average a week to get a prescription ready, and then you'll wait half an hour for them to give it you. I've spent enough hours of my life waiting here and making return visits for stuff they haven't got, or stuff they forgot to give me, or stuff that isnt *really* ready. I've changed to the nearby Tesco pharmacy in Hattersley. They have been inundated with people swapping they told me. Beware: Awburn House will attempt to put obstacles in your way to change pharmacy. Especially if you are digital. Maybe they get a kick back? Persevere. Force them to change your pharmacy away from these inept clowns. You have a right to do so. Vote with your £ (even if you dont pay, they get paid so it's still voting with your £)."
"Raging with the customer service I’ve just experienced. Gone in for some cough medicine, explained I’ve had a covid test and that my mum and my partner have all had a cold and I can feel one coming on myself, had a test this morning and the two ladies behind the counter told me to go for a “real” test as the lateral flow tests aren’t accurate. Then another lady appeared and said she doesn’t feel comfortable being around me and that I shouldn’t be out and mixing. So I shouldn’t be out and mixing because I can feel a cold coming on? Should I isolate for a week? I’ve had a negative test. I’ve never felt so humiliated in all my life. Are people not allowed colds anymore? Honestly I’m shocked. What is the point in selling medicines for coughs if this is the way you treat your customers who need a cough medicine? I’ll just go to tesco to get some medicine. Pathetic staff. I honestly can’t believe someone expects me to not be out and mixing because I have a feeling a cold is coming on? Even after having a negative test. Pathetic service."
"Started using this pharmacy after moving to the area. I have a long-standing repeat prescription which was previously dispensed by a pharmacy in Hyde who can only be described as utterly useless. Coming to Well Pharmacy in Mottram (and changing doctors surgery to Amburn House) was a breath of fresh air. The pharmacy seems really well organised and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Can't fault them and grateful that they look after my medication now."
