"Dreadful. Over a week and saying they hadn't received my partners prescription despite it going in at same time as another family member and they got theirs. All talking and laughing in the back and not concentrating on what they're doing. ."
"I and others know of the reputation of some of the staff here. I had cause to attend on behalf of my friend and as always been appalled by some members of staffs attitude to customers. I waited quite a while for an ordered prescription which is not unusual, but not a problem. What I witnessed was a shocking lack of confidentiality from the back of the counter, vulnerable people spoken to both on the phone and in person in such a brutal manner I had to take a breath, sit on my hands and bite my lip. Behind the counter also consists of mostly gossip and berating how busy they are. Elderly people with obvious mobility issues came in and were told not asked to come back as they are busy, this after they have waited over a week. Now this is not all the staff by any means as one lady I dealt with counter faceing was lovely. The fact remains that this situation been allowed to continue for a very long time, and needs to be addressed. Vulnerable and poorly people deserve service , respect and confidentiality. I have seen neither of these over the years. If this pharmacy was not attached to a doctors and didn't have convenient parking, it would be as quiet as a closed library."
"Used this pharmacy for over 20 years. Since being taken over by Well, service has suffered considerably. Prescriptions used to be ready in 48 hours, that became 72 hours, now you’re lucky if you get it within a week. People, often elderly and frail, are having to queue late on a Friday to ensure they get their vital medication for the weekend even though ordered it on the Monday. Some talk of Well having introduced a “Hub” system, no doubt to improve efficiency, also of “pingdemic” staff shortages. Either way, it’s not good enough."
"Honestly do not sign up to these if you have any form of mental illness. I signed up to these as they are attached to my doctors and I have my medications delivered due to my mental health alongside quite alot of physical ailments. But as I have not been in sometimes due to appointments or admittedly been asleep because of my meds or sometimes just been so mentally exhausted I can't move they have decided to embarrass my sister (who goes in if I've missed my meds) and have took me off the delivery because I dont need it. My CPN has already spoken to them about this and they are supposed to speak to her if I miss but they have never done that. They don't care about patients and certain staff there are nothing but rude and plain nasty."
