"I wish I could give more than 5 stars, I’m absolutely in love with my hair and I’m so so grateful to Amanda- she did a wonderful job!! My hair has been restored to its previous healthy condition after years of damage and thinning- in fact it’s never looked this good! Not only that but everyone at the salon was so accommodating and respectful; as I wear a hijab they booked me in on a quiet day and ensured I was hidden from any male customers. The service is of great value, especially for such high quality- I’d recommend strands to everyone."
"I had previously had a good experience here, but booked with a different stylist as I was not 100% happy with my haircut at my last visit. When I arrived I was told clients see the same stylist unless they weren't happy with the service and asked if I would like the same stylist IN FRONT OF MY PREVIOUS STYLIST. I felt uncomfortable so just went with it, but after describing the style I wanted was told that the layers would not look good and that the stylist knew best. I ended up with a blunt haircut that really I could have done at home, with a slightly uneven shape. It's not massively noticeable but if they had spent a bit of time checking the cut properly it could have been fixed- I was only able to see the problem when I got home. I now need to spend more money to get a haircut I am happy with, and feel I cannot visit Strands again because of the awkwardness."
"Joe worked magic on my hair. It was in bad condition, with faded blue and lots of roots, and he transformed it to gorgeous copper just by using a shampoo and conditioner. Incredible value for money and everyone there is so lovely and welcoming! I can’t recommend this place enough."
