"Fantastic little walk around. Didn't cost a thing and was really fun to visit. My kids adore animals of any kind so they love going here. There are no lions or tigers but what you see is still nice and it's a fun little walk."
"Loads to do for the kids. The park is nice and big. It was busy, but as there is loads to do it wasn't chaotic! I've never seen so many squirrels running around. The zoo bit was great, loads of different animals. Cafe was busy, but service was quick and it was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back here again. I had trouble with the parking machine. I had no idea how to use it, a lovely couple helped me."
"A fab day out for kids and adults. The park itself is free and maintained beautifully, and the zoo is free too and there's a very cute variety of animals. Had a great visit today as they're were plenty of ducklings and chicks. If you want to spend a bit of money there are rides for the younger kids, a train that takes you around the park, mini golf and a cafe. Just a great place all around to take the kids during the holidays, and a lovely place to walk the dog"
"Lovely park for families with young children. You pay £4 for parking and the rest of the facilities are free to use. Decent play area and the little farm is a great touch with lots of peacocks."
"Very serene atmosphere and beautiful landscape. The manor house is stunning and adds the rich historical feel to the grounds. Walking through the gardens you are swept up in history and could almost imagine what it felt like living on the grounds back in the days. A beautiful array of flowers are planted across the grounds in a spectacular display. The grounds are in excellent condition. There is a cafe on the grounds and they serve amazing food. The staff are friendly and fast with service. I would recommend having a nice brunch with a warm coffee and freshly baked cake while visiting. The zoo is a beautiful assortment of local animals and have a few habitats for the local red squirrels which are amazing to see. This is a must see historic destination."
