"My tooth began hurting in mid December 2022. I then had to wait until 16 January to see a dentist. I presumed it would be sorted out at that time but I was told 'no, this is an emergency appointment' which surely is the longest ever wait for something deemed an emergency! A temporary filling was applied which did little good as the tooth still caused pain whenever I attempted to chew on that side of my mouth. My next appointment was scheduled for the 20 February but this just turned out to be a treatment plan which is deemed necessary on the NHS apparently even though it was already known what treatment I needed. I next had to wait until the 8 March to get a root canal filling which was thought to have a good chance of success. In the meantime I was a little worried in case the nerve endings in the tooth started to die, given how much time had now passed, and that the tooth would then have to be removed. Fortunately the treatment on 8 March appears to have been successful although I do feel it should have been done a lot sooner so as to prevent unnecessary pain and worry. Three months is surely too long a wait?"
"My experience was great. The ladies on reception was so so nice and I felt so relaxed. I have been coming to Acorn dental clinic for years and I am very very happy with him. Dr Bogdan makes you feel so at ease. Brilliant"
"I was very pleased with my treatment. The dentist was very patient with me and explained clearly what was happening. I have been treated by two dentists and I got the impression that this is a very proficient clinic. As well as the dentists the administration staff are excellent and caring."
"Hello it was actually Catherine Hodgson who has just recently attended Dr Bogdan's surgery. As usual I found the whole experience relaxing, professional and informative. No treatment required on this occasion. Thank you"
"This was the only dentist that would even talk to me when I moved to the area 3 years ago. I have been going there as an NHS patient since . I have always found all the staff to be polite and helpful and the dentist considerate and professional with a good sense of humour. The main reason for this review though is that a few days ago I had to accompany an elderly friend there for a check up. He is 90 years old and was very nervous as he suspected that he may have to have quite a bit of work done. From the moment we arrived he was really well treated, they made sure he did not have to go upstairs to the surgery but was shown to a seat in reception immediately adjacent to the dentist. I was allowed to go into the room with him and saw just how well he was received. As it turned out there was not much work required, just a filling. The dentist explained everything to him and also to me so there was no misunderstanding. When it came to booking the appointment for this treatment the receptionist was most helpful in arranging it for a date and time that was convenient for me to accompany him. Thank you so much"
