"I booked online 2x new tyres for the rear of my A6. Due to tyre wear I wanted the tracking checking and adjusting. Turned up before the slot and they had me in ASAP. They didn't check anything with me and simply took my keys. I wanted to discuss the alignment/tyre wear, and it felt uncomfortable to get their attention. They fitted the tyres and checked the alignment and had it off the ramps. They said all was OK, maybe a bit of non adjustable camber issue. They had 2 printed sheets. One had red on the rear (camber and toe) the other sheet was all green. They were reluctant to offer me the sheets to review and pretty much told me it was all done and gave me the keys. Just felt it was all about the time rather then the care and getting my car sorted. Its unlikely I'll be back...."
"After booking in my Navara for an aircon re-gas, we took it to the Mansfield branch. It had needed a new pump which was purchased direct from Nissan by ourselves and taken to our local garage to have fitted, who had diagnosed the issue, and did so for a fraction of the cost. However, due to work commitments he couldn't take it to be re-charged. Hence our visit. My partner took it in as I was busy on site, left the truck for an hour returned to collect, when she arrived back we were told that it would be cheaper as some of the gas was still in. Thats the positive. The negatives, she was told that the pump didn't need replacing, (well, no, it was brand new) and the noises were just the pump trying to draw gas through, funny that, because after the pump was changed, total silence, even though there was not enough gas in. When she said who had fitted the pump, his reply was "well there you go" but offered no explanation, and when challenged to explain he just walked out. To make a damning statement regarding another garage without offering any justification stinks. It comes across as arrogance and indifference towards a female customer, The garage that he seemed to be saying had ripped us off, will be informed about his comments. Customer care and respect needs to be learned and personal views, however unfounded, kept to himself. Needless to say, it's left a bitter taste."
"I booked and paid for my MOT on line, I arrived in good time and went away to do some shopping. When I returned over two hours later I was told they had forgotten to test my car. I needed the car for that day so had to rearrange a new date and time, all at my expense. This time the car failed and as I was on a mobility scooter I had to order a taxi to get home. Later that day I was told it was ready, so another taxi and £200 worse off"
