"My mother lived here since it opened. She bought her 2 bed apartment. She loved it, was very happy and for her, this move was the best decision she could have made. She had lovely neighbours, found the staff very friendly, helpful and cheerful and the carers very caring. She loved the food in The Bistro and found the Dr's surgery and supermarket and post office, literally across the road, really handy. She used the hair salon too and was really pleased at the service and the price. She really liked to sit in the gardens and found them well maintained. The yearly fee for maintenance/service did go up a large amount, which she felt was unfair and unnecessary but if you look at all the small print before you buy, which is something that should be done with any home purchase, you will know the fees and the % of increase you are up for each year. I would recommend this retirement way of living to anyone who can afford it."
