Reviews
"Lovely quiet room, very comfortable. Close to the train station too. However, there is no thermostat in the room, and you cant regulate the room temperature. Also, the room didn't have any complimentary water, so when I woke up in the night thirsty, I had to decide whether to call reception or go back to sleep. Overall, it was an okay stay, as I only spent one night."
"We have stayed several times and has always been good, staff as usual were great. If as a hotel resident you want good access to the bar and food in the evening, avoid match days, as these areas get very busy."
"Works Christmas party was held here, my room was not clean in fact the walls were hairy! Staff were really friendly. Food was a set meal, Soup, Meat and Veg then Cheesecake dessert. I'm vegetarian so I asked what options there were for me... None apparently just the same meal minus meat! Photo attached (Bit behind the times). Sleep wise bed was comfortable and no disturbances. Breakfast very disappointing, It was rubbery like it had been warmed up from the day prior. Fried eggs over cooked, hash browns like cardboard. Quite surprised about this stay as from the outside and interior (minus hairy walls in bedroom) the place seems quite fancy. But the food is far from it."
"Stayed here from Friday to Sunday the 20th November for a shopping weekend. The staff were really lovely. The food was good and the rooms were spotless. And the view of the stadium was an added bonus. Lovely breakfast too. Nothing to fault."
"Nice sized hotel with friendly staff and plenty of parking. Stayed for three nights and found the beds to be quite comfortable still, despite looking slightly tired from age... The rooms are spacious and functional and the bath holds the heat well, but didn't test the shower as didn't seem like it was flush against the socket.. Selection of food is very minimal and mainly either pizza or burger. But plenty of different outlets either side of the hotel. Rooms serviced daily and maintained to a good level of service but overall summary is it could do with some modernisation. Other than that a nice enough hotel to rest up in."
