"Very nice clean hotel. The lounge/bar area is very cozy and laid back. The rooms are ample size but we had an issue with the sink not draining and the shower room floor was always soaked as the floor wasn’t slanted enough to drain the water. It would soak the carpet in the bedroom area. Other than that it was lovely. Room service was reasonable and breakfast was great. Plenty of choice for fussy eaters as well as a good vegan range."

"Brilliant staff team; worked super hard all the time and always had time to help. A real asset to this hotel. I didn't have cooked breakfast so no comment about that, although looked fresh. Bread and pastries were particularly good. Had some good food too at dinner, freshly cooked and with care. Hotel is in business park; just one noisy (and friendly) area for bar, reception and dining so no where to sit quietly other than rooms which are small. OK for one night but was there for three nights with nothing to do so noticed it more. Nowhere to hang long clothes. When you're working away from home, nice to have home comforts and could put biscuits in room and provide a few snacks to buy. Great shower and comfortable bed. 3 stars is value for money related, due to size of room, lack of somewhere to hang dresses, no quiet public areas."

"Overall my stay was pleasant but there are a few reasons for a lower rating. The windows looked like they had mould round the outer edge of the window, I’m not sure if this had been treated already but it wasn’t great to see. The other faults were the sink and the toilet, the sink was blocked and took ages to drain and the toilet was heavily stained. The bedroom was really nice and I liked the decor. The bed was comfy and the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. I really enjoyed the lounge/bar area. It was like being in a country lounge. The salmon I had was delicious too."

"The rooms were clearly upgraded a few years ago, they're trendy but a bit tired. Beds are very firm. My room had a shower that formed a puddle when used. Cleaning is also not amazing - there was a massive clump of hair in the bathroom when I arrived. The staff are friendly and pretty helpful. I got to breakfast early and it was pretty good. Car parking is £5 a night, which seemed a bit money grabbing since you're paying for a room at a hotel on a business park - nobody's walking here..."
