"Pleasantly surprised; Travelodge doesn't always have the best reputation but I booked a few weeks in advance and managed to get a Saver Rate room at £37 for the night as somewhere to stay for a night out. Very budget hotel but clean and warm room, couldn't hear any noise in the corridors or any road noise (when the window was closed) and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of space in the car park, staff friendly and security presence at night. Didn't have breakfast or use the bar/cafe facilities so can't comment on those."
"Carl, Emma, Kevin... Thank you all for a fantastic service. 2 weeks training at Diamond, you made me and others feel welcome at Bolton.. would recommend staying here any time. Thank you. £2.75 for a Stella bargin happy hour!"
"The location was excellent just beside the road, close by restaurants and plenty of supermarkets, etc. But the cleanliness was quite poor, the bathrooms did not have any soap or hand sanitisation liquids, they were all empty bottles, the bathroom and toilet was quite stinking with a very strong pee stench. The bedroom floor was not clean, and quite dirty. The bed sheets on some of the beds did not look clean. They do not have any room service to make the beds, etc. They only simply fill in the coffee and sugar sachets, and empty the bin."
"Visiting Bolton overnight, and our stay was excellent. Friendly staff, comfy rooms and a good nights sleep. Checkout was quick and we were greeted with a friendly smile from Mehwish. We would not hesitate to stay here again."
"Stayed overnight as part of a trip up north and was really impressed by this hotel. It's nice and central in the town being a 10 minutes or so walk from the train station and bus station. Rooms are extremely clean and well presented, and we're ready for us to book straight in when we arrived. As Bolly was with us, we had a room on the first floor overlooking a really nicely converted office building and over reception. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom though completely functional, was rather small and the shower curtain not very good at keeping the floor dry as the shower was extremely powerful. The bed was very, very comfortable. I don't sleep that well, yet I slept a full 8 hours without being in pain when I woke up. We didn't eat in the cafe, but it looked extremely clean and tidy, with a bar as well. The car park is round the building with additional parking at the side of the hotel and is free. Disabled parking is available directly opposite the reception doors. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, helping us with a slight problem with the key card not working the lifts. I would definitely say it's the best Travelodge we have stayed in and look forward to staying again when we travel that way in the future."
