"My family and I came to stay for a few days from Brighton - brilliant service, clean rooms and toilets with showers that had a great water pressure. The staff were kind, polite and helpful, and ensured we had a good experience. Will definitely come again."
"Ok it's a hostel not a hotel. I see a lot of bad reviews of the place and I had to say I was expecting the worst of the worst, and that's not the case. The room have a bathroom that's been recently renovated (please see my attached photos). Very clean and great shower. Sheets were clean, bed have a dual USB charger, and room temperature was not very high but tolerable. But the best of the hotel is centric location, just two blocks from Manchester Picadilly Train Station. Now, the sad thing is that the hostel has no curfew. So there's people getting in and out of the room at any night hours. So forget about sleeping right."
"I know this was a hostel, and therefore cheap, but we booked a private room with what was meant to be a private bathroom. Now, I might be wrong, but a bathroom to me consists of a shower or bath, a sink and a toilet. However, the toilet was missing and we had to share the facilities with others which is not what we booked. To make matters worse, the toilets were disgusting and filthy, and you were afraid to go to them in the middle of the night due to the other really rowdy guests which staff did nothing about so the rowdy behaviour went on until well into the early hours of the morning. We were in a basement room so if we could hear the noise, the staff could too. Additionally, our room and "private bathroom" was filthy and in a very poor state of repair. With broken tiles, mould on the walls and even an iPhone charging cable holding a radiator (that didn't work) to the wall. Not a nice place to stay at all."
"This is truely the good, the bad and the ugly. The good: the room was clean as was the bed, it's really well located. The bad: everything is broken or cracked or doesn't work or needs to be cleaned. EVERYTHING. Broken shower doors, shower heads, doors to toilets, tiles, everything. The ugly: the prices, I honestly don't understand how you can charge this much for a place like this."
"It's a case of the good, the bad and the ugly about this hostel. The good is that is centrally located and all the city's amenities are nearby. Also some of the staff are quite kind and helpful, free breakfast and storage available. The devil is in the details so I'd say the bad are out of date spring mattresses and the dingy corridors. The ugly is the rather expensive weekend prices for a hostel, the 14 bunks in a rather small room, very dirty shower curtain ( I couldn't tell what was the original color), the smelly mops and the loose ( or thereof lack of) toilet seats."
