"So I found myself in a situation where I needed to be transferred to Salford A&E department yesterday and all I can say is oh my God the staff and crew at the hospital worked their socks off they’re credit to the NHS they deserve medals what they have to put up with well done Salford"
"They don't care if you suffering they just want to get rid of you asap. Not to mention waiting times are horrendous. I waited 4 hours for urine test to come back from labs just to be told this test wasn't even sent off, because it's not a&e test. Poor service in all possible aspects :("
"Despicable staff. 8+ hours spent in A&E with broken leg- you’d think that was a ‘priority’ patient. Well no, not even offered to lie down/ignored when asked for some water. That’s just the beginning. Swelling/pain multiplied due to negligence."
"Disgraceful how they treated my mother and sister. Both had been waiting hours on end only to be fobbed off by the doctors who took no notice of them despite them both being in agony! Nurses were ignorant and wouldn't help them and the ambulance who took my mum first time 8 weeks ago are a joke as they made her wait for them at home for at least 7 hours. That place needs reviewing by the authorities ASAP!"
"I waited almost an hour to be seen by a horrible doctor who seemed more interested in getting me out of the office than helping me. I was there only 3 mins. He only gave me a prescription to buy an antibiotic next day at a pharmacy, nothing to help me in that moment. He told me it was not his problem that there were not open farmacies at 2am. Even though he knew I needed the antibiotic with urgency as the pain kept growing. My pain was so bad that I could only touch one side of my face. I told the doctor that I had already taken several paracetamol tablets without success. That the pain intensified as the hours passed. But he didn't care. He just sent me home and told me to take more paracetamol tablets. I ended up visiting a private doctor that sorted everything out that very night (with antibiotics and pain relief)."
