"Our first visit but we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink. We were greeted warmly and all staff offered excellent service from start to finish. We shall return soon and I am very happy to recommend this delightful place. Theme nights on certain nights of the week such as quiz night etc. In addition special food nights such as steak or curry. Ample parking at you can even stay overnight."

"An absolute hidden gem! We took my Mum for mother's day lunch. The Service, The Food, The Surroundings, couldn't fault it. We had plenty of elbow room between tables, so we couldn't hear other conversations, but wasn't isolated. The service was very attentive without being over bearing, the landlord & landlady are lovely & friendly. The food was delicious, honestly if you want to try somewhere off the beaten track, but still on a main road then The Shoulder at Hardstoft is your place to go. Try & book if you can as they do seem very busy. Oh large carpark & accessible for disabled."
