"North Birmingham motors have done work on behalf of a garage we brought a car from, but the car had issues (grinding noise). 1st they got me an appointment quickly which was perfect. Clutch failed on way to their garage which they replaced the next day. However, the car went in with a noise and they were willingly going to let me take it with the noise still there (luckily my mechanic took me to pick it up). There was no test drive after replacing a part to make sure the noise had gone. Turns our Gear linkages needed doing. There’s things I would say from being a 1st time customer here that definitely could change. There was no communication for a whole week. I had to chase for an update which I found out there had been no movement. 2ndly my partner picked my car up to find dirt all on the mats and plastic trim hanging off front bumper. I understand your mechanics but if the car comes in a clean state to you it should least return in a clean state. Tbh all the mechanics/garages I know and use, use paper mats and seat coverings) In all honesty I wouldn’t rush back here for any mechanical work."
