"Always able to find a bargain. Staff friendly and helpful"
"Lots of quality furniture but don’t ask for items to be delivered as delivery drivers don’t care about your furniture. They damaged my wardrobe and said ‘what do you expect it’s second hand.’ Totally ignorant people."
"This family shop is a nice place to go they are so helpeful and their delivery drivers are really helpful i have spoke to other people that have shopped there and they all say the same been back since and found out they also buy furniture from you it's great"
"We had some modern M+S furniture to sell, had it on FB, Ebay for a while with nothing but timewasters, contacted Greenwoods, sent some pictures in, offered a decent price, collected when they said they would, keep me fully informed with arrival time etc. The two lads that collected were very courteous and professional, took extra care as we had recent new carpet and decorating, highly recommended."
"0 stars deserved. I bought a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa from them due to the fact they do deliveries and it takes off hassle of hiring man in a van. My mother had been a regular customer for many years and even more so when my dad started to get ill from stroke and heart attack, so we bought all reclining chairs and beds from them which are all good. However, i bought the sofa set while wearing a mask and didn’t realise how badly it smells. It smells of old furniture and unclean antique shop that hasn't been washed for years I offered to bring cushions in last week to prove it. They looked clean except the insides of the seating cushion, which all looked darked and soaked and they tried to cover it with new upholstery. I would say this is where the smell is coming from. I tried calling many times and no one is willing to even investigate on it. all they say is they are really busy and the managers are all away, they don’t know when they would come back. I wasn't even going to return the item, I was asking for exchange as I badly need sofas and I dont have access to a van to order from Facebook marketplace. The lady I talked to was polite and said to me my complain is being dealt with, and I will get a call from Donna, which never happened. The young male staff I spoke to was just full of avoidance and saying he is really busy and there is no one to deal with this, he will let the manager know but he doesn't know when the managers will come back. He even accused me that it might be a smell coming from my empty flat without any other furniture. How laughable. We are all struggling in this pandemic and I can’t believe how this guys are treating their customers once they already got the money. I don’t usually bother for reviews like this, as you will see this is my first review I’ve written, but this is just disgusting. If you keep selling overpriced items unprofessionally washed and cleaned, without even having a returns or exchange policy, i am not sure how well your business will do in the coming years. You reap what you sow. Remember this once you try stinky items again. These are definitely cowboys as stated on the comment below, I would say examine well before you buy if you are desperate, especially the smell. They won’t care once they got your money even if you are poor. stay away, unless you are desperate. Choose charity shop or facebook marketplace instead."
