Reviews
"We like this pub, it would be lovely if the music wasn't so loud then we could have a conversation."
"Good atmosphere, great music and the best pink gins this side of pontefract xx"
"Beautiful old town pub. Spotlessly clean but OMG the beer is simply awful. Warm & flat Coors lager again & the Guinness was shocking. Third time in following new owners & keep hoping for the beer to improve but this currently is not the case. Needs serious attention to the cellar."
"Terrible. Used to be a good place for lunch but now very disappointing. Had all day breakfast. £6.50 Cheap sausage, no butter for toast and all looked a bit unappetising. No more visits from us."
"The refurbishment of the bar has made a dramatic improvement to the atmosphere. The bar staff are very polite and courteous and gives a good welcome to all visitors. I went for a sunday lunch and it was delicious and home made, and an affordable price."
