"Absolute gem of a place, huge amount of seating outside and all under cover. There are also some heaters to help keep you warm. Sandwiches (cobs) are superb value. Only cheese, beef or ham but amazing as they are very generous with filling and the side salad is a meal in itself. Parking can be tricky at busy times but worth a visit and very dog friendly."
"One of our favourite places. We park in Kinver and walk down the canal towpaths to the Caunsall Road bridge and then road walk for 300 yards. Steady walk takes approx 45 minutes, then you are ready to tuck into food and drink. Cobs, beers and locally made pork pies. You really couldn't want for more."

"Lovely village pub, with possibly the finest cobs (beef, cheese or ham) in the known world, served with copious salad. Gets busy of a lunchtime, and with good reason! Not the largest selection of ales but what there is is well kept and very quaffable. Well worth a visit, but remember they don't do cards - cash only."
