"It is a good local B&Q. Smaller than the other B&Qs, probably, but you can find a lot of materials and equipment in the shop. Also there are a Screwfix and a Tool station nearby. So if you couldn't find what you want you can visit other stores in the area."

"DO NOT BUY YOUR KITCHEN FROM HERE! I would not even give one star to the kitchen department at Handforth Dean. We had nothing but problems and issues from start to finish. We ordered our kitchen and was told everything was in stock….. Day before delivery we were told they had no legs, worktop might turn up but they couldn’t confirm, and the dishwasher wouldn’t be arriving for approx 8 weeks. After spending lots of time on the phone we managed to get the worktops, we had to go and source the legs ourselves from another BnQ who were very helpful. The BnQ kitchen fitters arrived, a week into the job they said they didn’t realise but the dishwasher wouldn’t fit but we could have a cupboard instead?!? I insisted they sort it as I had paid for a dishwasher which they said would fit when they came and did a pre fit. The washer dryer was fitted but didn’t work, when we contacted Handforth Dean kitchen dept they seemed disinterested and were about as much help as a chocolate fireguard. My husband ended up contacting Hoover direct who ordered us a replacement and came and fitted it. The kitchen fitters caused more damage every time they came to the point that we asked them not to come back. Again when we contacted Handforth Dean they showed no interest. We also had problems with BnQs rubbish collection but again we resolved that ourselves by contacting the source direct. Not once did the kitchen dept of BnQ Handforth Dean apologise for all their mistakes or lack of interest. Some of the issues are still not resolved and when we complained we were offered £50 and a tin of paint!"

"Lazy staff who want to stand around doing nothing. Went in and approached 2 ladies who were giggling standing doing nothing. Asked them if they sell car hoovers. Said no we don't straight away without checking. Turned out they did and the hoovers were right infront of the them. Then went to the checkout and waited ages althought there was staff to serve me at the other checkout. They would of rather stood around and made me wait. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE LAZY PEOPLE! The reviews on here seem to be good (Only from white people).There seems to be racism at this site clearly."

"Ordered 4 100L bags of Bark using click and collect. Received a message within a few minutes to say they were ready to collect. After a short drive I arrived at the store and the bags were waiting on a trolley awaiting my collection. Excellent service."
