"I have been a customer of Toni and Guy for many years, using many branches including Manchester in Piccadilly Gardens, Stockport and now more recently Wilmslow. Wilmslow is now my local branch close to my residence. I have always been happy with the fantastic service and outstanding results that Toni & Guy have achieved, but unfortunately in my last visit I was so disappointed. Please let me clarify that my recent haircut performed at Wilmslow branch was very good and to Toni & Guys exacting standards, but when it comes on what the price you pay it wasn't very honest or clear. I visited two weeks in advance the Toni & Guy Wilmslow branch to explain my circumstances, describing what I wanted to be done in advance and to seek how much I will have to pay within my budget. The lady I spoke with at the time told me how much it would cost conducted by her, but it was out of my budget as she stated the price was because of her advanced level as an experienced stylist. At this point I explained to her I wanted something a little bit cheaper so then she suggested this girl Nadia, she told how much will be for the haircut and balayage or ombre and we settled on a price, I further expanded that I couldn't have it all done on the same day as I have something on the weekend after the initial appointment that could damage the colour of my hair. So when I came to get my hair cut done the staff were very nice and I loved my hair cut, but when I went to the till to pay and to arrange the colouring appointment for my hair, the same person I spoke with two weeks earlier informed me that the colour was going to be more expensive now because the girl that cut my hair had progressed to a higher level. I found that very confusing as I had spoken to manager seeking clarification of price in advance, which was the whole purpose of my initial visit. We finally, managed to agree a date and price for the colouring again with somebody else. Two days before my colouring appointment I received a telephone call from Toni & Guy Wilmslow branch, who informed me that the schedule could no longer be completed at the specified time and will need to be rescheduled or completed by another member of staff. I cancelled the appointment rather upset and thoroughly disheartened by all events. In all I felt totally let down By Toni & Guy, disappointed by the unprofessional approach by staff and the pricing commitment agreed with yourselves. I expected better treatment and customer satisfaction from such a reputable company as Toni & guy."

"Had a great first experience at T & G in Wilmslow. Nadia did a brilliant job on my balayage top up, I love my colour. Reasonably priced as well, will definitely be back."

"Not honest about prices, you book in for a certain amount only to find at the end that you have to pay for additional costs that were not explained. £92 for a top up balayage (this ended up being only the t-section and not the underneath) but have to pay another £20 if you need toner and £49 if you want a trim too (not that this is mentioned until you’re about to pay). I would have appreciated a bit of up front honesty about the additional costs as I left feeling rather tricked and £70 out of pocket for what was already an expensive service. Not to mention the “curly blow dry” which ended up being a straight blow dry and a 5 minute rush job curling to get me out of the door. The end result was nice (although not curly in the slightest) but I have received a better end result paying £80 (less than half what I paid this time) for a full balayage and cut/blow dry elsewhere. I will not be using Toni and Guy again."

"I have been going to Wilmslow Toni & Guy since I moved to this area approximately 10 years ago. They are always welcoming and friendly. My stylist Ashley has over the years steered me in the right direction when I’ve suggested perhaps not the best cut or colour for which I’m always grateful! As always Ashley gave me a great cut yesterday. I have on about two occasions gone elsewhere when I’ve desperately needed a cut and Ashley’s inconsiderately been on holiday(!), and each time instantly regretted it! 10/10"
