Sports Direct Gracechurch Shopping Centre, The Parade, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield B72 1PA

"Whilst in store ( Gracechurch Shopping Centr) with my beloved pooch at 13.45pm on 23.10.2022, I was approached by the rudest member of staff ever. I was told that dogs are not allowed in the shopping centre and asked to leave. I replied that I was in store a couple of weeks ago and the member of staff I spoke with said pets are allowed. This member of staff is obviously a pet hater and did not care what I was saying. She told me that the other member of staff wad wrong and insisted on us leaving. I am a valuable customer and have spent hundreds of pounds in Sports Direct and this member of staff has just lost the company a good customer. Sports Direct need to have a consistent level of training. Disgusting, Unacceptable treatment of a customer. Shame on you."

"Staff need more training regarding treating customers with respect and courtesy when there's a problem (rather than accusing them of "just trying to make excuses" after the customer has flagged up a genuine concern about the safety of one of their products). Also no hint of any apology that the manager had unfortunately supplied me with the wrong football studs. Very disappointing and surprising attitudes in this store."

"AVOID THIS STORE. Issues with faulty Nike trainers, initially spoke to Maria who was lovely, polite and helpful. Once I had found replacement trainers the experience was ruined by the store manager who refused exchange them and refused to give me his name. When he described my issue he described a faulty item, but refused to admit there was a fault so would not exchange them. I requested he send them to Nike for inspection as I believe them to be faulty and he refused. I am now having to complain via their website to now get a refund as I now longer want an exchange and do not want to deal with this company. It was a £48 pair of trainers, yet he is more prepared to have an unhappy customer who no longer wants to deal with Sports Direct than exchange them. Pathetic."

"Much like most other Sports Direct stores I have been into the staff are rude and are in desperate need of learning to deal with customers. I think I'd rather spend more online with £4.99 delivery charge than deal with snotty store assistants who really need to learn how to work with people instead of act as if it's a chore. The store manager was great and very helpful but as for customer service that's it, she either needs to rein in her staff or they all need to go on customer service courses!"
