Reviews
"Came here for a quick lunch whilst i was in the area. Checked on Google that it has good reviews, so I must experience it myself. Beautiful succulent yet crispy roasted pork belly. Meat was juicy and tasty, crackling was crunchy and not too hard. They achieved the perfect balance of crunch, texture and taste. The rice, unfortunately, was a let down. It was dry and hard. Grains looked too long to be jasmine rice, so I doubt it. Being a South East Asian, I'm very particular about the rice. Other than that, the pork was a definite winner. Service was fast, as expected in many Chinese small restaurants. The lady at the till was very efficient and helpful in explaining their menus."
"Went after a recommendation and let the lady taking my order choose my meal as I wasn’t sure what to get. The food was good but I gave them 3 stars because the meat is quite fatty so it’s not the easiest to eat and it was £12.75 so very expensive for a lunch. Had there been less fat and under a tenner it would have been 5 stars. It is however a very popular place and the queue for lunch went out the door."
"Popped by for lunch and got the 2 meat lunch box set (roast duck and crispy roast pork). Portions were decent compared to other canto bbq lunch restaurants in London. The meats were also top standard for lunch and you also get a portion of veg. Decent amount of seating and the place in general is very clean with a modern interior. The service is very friendly. My only comment is their additional sauces are 1 pound each which is too expensive in my opinion."
"Quite good, though I will say that receiving your food in a small takeaway box is pretty inconvenient and obviously extremely wasteful on the restaurant's behalf, especially for the price. Very authentic tasting (as someone who previously lived in south china) - the duck here is really really good. The extra sauces are a bit expensive for the amount you receive but are very tasty. Service very friendly and fast, but the restaurant should really be renamed THREE AUNTIES since there are more aunties than uncles I saw :^)"
"Nice little spot to grab a quick lunch with rice and choice of roast duck, pork or chicken. The service is fast and portions are generous. But I didn’t see any uncles here only 3 aunties so maybe it should be called THREE AUNTIES"
