"I was so disappointed when my food arrived. I was shock and wanting to refund. But I didn’t because it was an older auntie working in the restaurant. The sweet sour pork is very bad. The vegetables are all raw. The pork is not even cooked properly. They just deep fried and add sauce on top. I couldn’t even eat it. All I eat was all the rice and then I left still feeling hungry. I probably don’t wants to go back again. I feel the market foods is better. I only go in because it was raining. Not happy"
"I was exploring Lower Marsh to write an article for my blog. I stopped off at Wing Loon for a plate of noodles with veg. It was pretty good I have to say. The cafe is a no frills, no nonsense kind of place. You give your order at the till, there isn't table service. The interiors are basic. The food was good though for the price. If you are looking for cheap eats, its good."
"Located at the quieter end of lower marsh (Waterloo end) next to leake st arches (graffiti tunnel) is this really nice undiscovered restaurant. Serves Thai and Chinese dishes. Tried the sweet and sour pork and rice. It was pretty fantastic. It had all the right ratios of meat to peppers to pineapple. The sauce was amazing. Classic Hong Kong style. Portion size is massive as they use the old skool aluminium containers and not those shallow plastic ones. Highly recommended. Restaurant can seat around 50 ppl. Definitely going again to try the other dishes."
"Excellent authentic Chinese food, I highly recommend the char sui and roast pork. The prices are decent too. We are her twice in 2 days. The second time we had it delivered because of the heatwave. The roast pork was still the stand out dish. The Hain Nam chicken was quite dry and didn’t get eaten. The prawn crackers are not what we are use to, they were sweet and we didn’t like them."
