"I ate at Pot and Rice with my two sons, age 8 and 10, and we all loved the food so much! We ordered a chicken and shiitake mushroom clay pot, beef udons, Taiwanese fried chicken, edamame and plain rice. All were delicious and special praise for the quality of the fried chicken. For desert, we ordered Yuzu cheesecake and Macha French toast with tapioca, the latter was particularly good (my son dived in before I had a chance to take a photo of it whole!) We each ordered lemonade with tapioca and lychee jelly, which was great. My only slight criticism is that the service could have been a bit quicker but the restaurant was very busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend and go again."
"One of the best places for Korean/Chinese style rice bowls in Elephant and Castle! The Taiwanese fried chicken starter (Pictured) is also juicy and really well seasoned. I always have the Chinese salami (pictured) rice bowl and it never fails. On the other hand, my partner had the pork and bamboo which had a quite strong fish sauce flavor but was still nicely smoky and well cooked. The portions are very large so come with an empty stomach. Still, I do believe they could lower the prices, 9 pounds for a starter and 14 for a main that is mostly rice, is a bit much."
"Nothing amazing, decent Chang-fen rice cake and rice pots. Prices have gone up to around £ 5-6 starter and £ 13-14 pot. Would not recommend the bubble tea, you get quite a strong condensed milk taste"
"Really nice service. The staff were friendly and personable. We went for the lunchtime deal where you order a bowl for under 10 pound. I added a duck bao bun and had a large pot of tea. With service charge I paid £19 in total. It was tasty and looked great. Althought the Bao bun tasted great, you only get one for £4. I would skip this next time."
"I enjoyed my salami chicken pot rice but my boyfriend hated the pork one with plum sauce he ordered because it was really sweet, almost like 八宝饭. It was our mistake as we didn’t read the menu carefully….. but both dishes are pretty oily so I can only have it occasionally. Visited a while ago for the Hong Kong bubble tea, which was good! Wish the dish were a bit less oily though."
