"As a student of the university of Salford, I needed a car urgently to get from A to B and I was dealing with a tight budget. "We purchased a vehicle from them at auction. We live in London, they're in Manchester. My husband went to collect the vehicle but because of train delays and cancellations he arrived almost 4:30 instead of the 2pm he had anticipated. I called a few minutes to 4 and explained about the delay; they reluctantly agreed to wait until 4:30 instead of their usual 4pm closing time. (He also called them but was told they couldn't wait beyond 4, hence the reason I called them.) When he arrived shortly before 4:30 there was nobody on site. After calling the phone and knocking in vain, he again called me. I rang their number several times but nobody answered. Finally, he gave up and booked a hotel room for the night. When he collected the vehicle the following morning, it was properly vandalized. Both rearview mirrors were gone, one wheel was missing, he had to buy 3 new tires and there were various other kinds of damage, none of which was shown or listed on the auction site. The pictures displayed on the site were completely different from what he saw in person. The staff was not very helpful and tried to lie when I called aga claiming they waited until 6 o'clock. They told my husband they waited until 5, so conflicting stories. This is our second time purchasing an auction vehicle from them, and since the first experience was somewhat similar in terms of the vehicle condition, we definitely won't be doing business with them ever again."
