"Terrible!!!! Pricing is like shop prices!! £10 for a used top in a charity shop!! If you’re in Rubery, go to Primrose or Pdsa up & across the road!!! They have proper prices and a better selection. Ridiculous."
"the pricing manager is ridiculous, £ 20 a used jacket at the charity shop? it's really bad that clothes in a store that is aimed at charity sales gave prices even higher than in some stores in the mall! Avoid"
"I feel bad saying give acorns nothing but pass on to somewhere else or give free on Gumtree or shpock because at least then you know it goes to good use The branch of acorns in Rubery is run by a woman who isn't very warm towards people and no flexibility with the items given free. A lad I know offered them £15 for a playstation 2 that was up for £20 and was refused ... Imagine his joy when he took it from their rubbish bin out the back a week later? Now how would you feel if that was YOUR playstation donated because you think your doing your good deed only to find it went in the trash?? The amount of broken kids from poor homes who'd of loved that but no..... If we don't get the price then in the bin it goes .. Never mind blessing someone with it. The charity shops in Rubery are in conflict with each other and refuse to pass stuff on and I'm sick to the stomach .. The fact acorns ceo gets over £200,000 a year sickens me as well.... Its a charity not a bank. I have bought nothing from this shop since I found this out and never will... Please DO NOT donate to them. Charity today is all about business and care little for their cause. Now we can await the usual rubbish reply from acorns..... If you don't believe me go to the back of these places and look at what's thrown away... You'll be shocked Almost as bad as tesco with its signs saying they'd never waste food yet when the Rubery branch closed its doors for the last time instead of giving all the locals who have been loyal customers a Freebie they put every bit of food left on the shelves in the bin.... Sickening waste and these shops have the cheek to have you arrested for taking items out of the bin..... Better in the landfill than in your stomach apparantly .. Human race is a disgrace"
"A great charity shop, plenty of bargains for everyone. Very rarely do i come out of this shop without a bargain. Everything is reasonably priced as well. The only negative is that the shop needs a good sort out. Sometimes it's a bit like an obstacle course. I wish I was able bodied enough to help them out."
