"First time I've been in this pub for a very long time... it was excellent. friendly service staff were very helpful and friendly."
"Would have avoided if I’d bave known it was a Joseph Holt pub. First walked in to the smell of an old working men’s club, like ale had been soaked into the carpets for many years. Queued up for the bar, because that’s what decent people do, and after waiting for about 5 minutes? some 40-year-old cut straight in front of me, which he seemed pretty proud of. Left after that. Seemed the staff were pretty pally with their clientel, which, though is a good thing- I was clearly in the queue and this was recognised by the staff on the bar and they still weren’t botherd. Queue cutters ruin pubs."
"Brilliant singer on last Saturday. Fantastic voice, and even though we were dancing around her, she kept her composure. Lovely bar staff, great place"
