"It is the kind of restaurant that provide different small portion dishes that goes well with a beer. I think the snails is a must try, it comes with garlic bread sticks which are the best. We also ordered the pull pork pie, it is only okay as the portion is really too small. We also ordered the onglet steak, it tasted good but £17 for few small pieces of steak seems way too expensive. Nevertheless, the food all tasted great. The environment is a bit cramped but has a cozy feeling inside. The tables are also very small. The outside tables are bigger but you will need to borrow a blanket during winter. Its true that the expected spending at this restaurant is £10-20 due to the limited menu choices. However you gotta go to borough market and get more food afterwards."
"Would come here again! Asides from the gruff first impression from the unwelcoming security man, we had a really great time. There’s a good-sized heated terrace but we were still grateful to have a table inside (February temperatures). Interiors are like an old style ski chalet. Toilets were interesting… More importantly, possibly the first place I’ve been in London with small plates that aren’t overpriced?? And everything was yum. One star deducted for slow service at times."
"The people that work here are really lovely. They were friendly and gave us time and patience. The menus are a lovely touch. I enjoyed my food. I didn't like the toilets. Unsure why it's so dark. Men if you get as far as the duck, you've gone to far. Turn around and you'll see the door for men."
"Amazing food, amazing decor, friendly and welcoming staff. The Margheritas are also absolutely divine! Had a lovely meal with a great atmosphere and we were very well cared for throughout. I will be visiting every time I'm in the area!"
"Great small plates for sharing and excellent value. Staff very attentive and recommended dishes. The toilets are also worth a visit... you'll see what I mean!"
