"Really excellent food, such creative and exciting dishes what a refreshing kosher restaurant, lively and vibey. Taster menu is fantastic value with proper portions sizes. Don’t miss the duck salad! 11/10 would definitely recommend"
"Fresh ingredients but poorly managed. The location was easy to find, but the service was very bad. The waiter asked what drink we would have and brought the wrong one to the table, during the 2.5 hours “dining experience”, no one came to refill our glasses at all and this happened to all guests in the restaurant which was very weird. The waiter were chitchatting on the side while dishes were served very slowly and there was not much service at all. Food was just ok, not impressive so overall quite disappointing."
"My friend visiting from Manchester wanted to try a really good kosher restaurant and treat us to one we hadn't been to before. He ordered two salt beef bagels @£13 per bagel. They were tiny and there was one single slice of salt beef in each bagel and one sliced cornichon. Much less good than the competitor's kosher salt beef bagel, which is £9.50. PS And then they replied, getting my name and title wrong (literally unfathomable as it's there in the post), and getting their own pricing wrong (it's £11 without a drink, but then no delivery)."
"Nothing was essentially "bad", however when paying that money for a kosher meal you expect a "fantastic" meal. Our starter of beef tartare could have been anything. There was no way it was possible to taste the tartare with the amount of additional ingredients added in, however what we actually complained about was the amount of mustard which completely overtook all other flavours and which the dish didn't need really. We both had steaks for our mains. I thought mine was fantastic, had almost no fat on and was cooked really well. My husband ordered his blue and although 3/4 was blue, the last 1/4 was rare - definitely cooked differently from the rest of the piece. I ordered chimichurri as my sauce. The sauce was delicious but was not chimichurri, it was Asian flavours of coriander, chilli and garlic and my husband's bernaise sauce was "gloopy" as he put it. The triple cooked chips in rosemary were excellent but those should not have been the star of the dish. For dessert we shared the sticky date pudding. This tasted delicious but hugely lacked presentation. Clearly there is no patisserie chef in this established, rather the chef(s) who cook the rest of the food cook this too and it shows. There was a pool (albeit very tasty) sauce underneath which should have been placed in a jug rather than drenching the dish. Our waiter asked if we wanted two side plates, whereas he shouldn't have asked but should have brought them regardless. All in all a "nice" evening with "nice" food but significantly underwhelming"
"Absolutely 5 star. Yan, our waiter was a real pleasure, very helpful, attentive, and humerus throughout - the decor is lovely - and the food... The food is wonderful. The duck has set the standard for what duck should be like, and make sure you leave room for desert. The rhubarb crumble was amazing. Can't wait to return."
