"It was a great overall dining experience. I sat across Tom and the kitchen. Lovely to see the action happening. The restaurant is a little tight, especially if you're a bigger person like myself. The staff were lovely and attentive. The first server suggested the Super Lemon Tommy's, and that was a great shout, a brilliant start to a solo lunch. The cavolo nero came quickly after, and to be honest, I devoured it. I enjoyed it, it had great balance, and the bread was perfect. I got the potatoes and the Mullard as the main. Quite "gamey", but it didn't do much for me. The pate that the dish came with was a needed sidekick - not enough of it, though. Finally, the set custard. OH MY, that was very very good. Everything worked well together. I also had the doughnuts, which had a night lil wheaty flavour, which was gorgeous. I'll be coming again, and I definitely would recommend it."

"Every dish is uniquely made. Something you will never experience anywhere else. The flatbread with chili butter and mussels was spectacular. The set custard and the chocolate mousse were amazing. The waiters are very knowledgeable about all the dishes. The ambiance was warm and cozy. We had a chance to meet Thomas and he was really nice and humble. Highly recommended."

"Round two and absolutely sublime. In fact it is now my favourite restaurant in London. Sat at the counter and watched the delicious food being prepared with professionalism and energy. "I must say the food is Devine and staff very friendly. The decor is green (my favourite colour actually) and tastefully done. If you’re going I’d recommend the flat bread and muscles and Cornish crab to start, an unusual combination but delicious. (Have this with any of the white wines,) Make sure to book in advance as tables go quick. It’s a new venue, if I could give any developmental feedback it would be for their employees to increase their F&B / wine pairing knowledge along with their attention to detail. We were given two different menus on sitting, then served the incorrect dish after our starters which was just placed down, with no dish introduction. Our bill had roasted beetroot listed (which was an item not on the menu and the wait a little long between courses.) These are clearly teething issues and overall I’d go back as the food is exceptional and staff very very friendly. Who doesn’t like butter :-) 9/10"

"Fantastic experience at Strakers, intimate setting with great music. Service was good and they are doing a nice job with numbers they have for front of house. Food is nothing short of spectacular, every dish had amazing flavours and the desserts took it to the next level. Cocktails were a highlight too. Already looking to try and pencil in another booking!
