"Absolutely brilliant coffee and homeware shop. The coffee here is incredible, beautifully made and the staff a pleasure to speak to, they couldn’t be friendlier. Loved seeing the place busy, would highly recommend - the flapjacks are delicious as well!"
"Fabulous, fabulous food, nice staff, WAY better than the ridiculous dire Altrincham Market. I left the Tender Cow (TC) in the Market after a disgusting meal and found this brilliant cafe. Tender Cow has No customer care, just a very bad attitude, my steak was swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At Altrincham Market silly prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to Tender Cow to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant."
"Called in for a mid morning light bite. Partner had the Turmeric Latte, I had the Lemon Moroccan Verbena Tea & a slice of Orange & Pistachio cake. The Turmeric Latte was very nice - wish I had ordered likewise! The Orange & Pistachio cake tasted more like Bakewell Tart, which wasn’t a problem as I like Bakewell Tart lol. The Lemon Tea was a disappointment however - just like drinking hot water, hardly any flavour. A common problem with fruit Teas I find. Some nice Moroccan homeware here, hand crafted in Morocco which means it’s also relatively expensive."
