"I went to Java after parkrun with a couple of park running friends. It was recommended by the team at Hyde parkrun and I can see why. There’s a really good range of food and drink available, and the prices are very reasonable indeed. We each had a really tasty, freshly baked pain au raisin, and one friend had the scrambled eggs on toast. This, along with three hot drinks, came in under £14. The service was first class, and they kindly replace one of the drinks I managed to spill. There’s only limited seating inside, but plenty of space outside. Highly recommended."

"I can only give it this mark because I only had a cup of tea. It is ideally situated in the park itself. It looks clean and tidy. I sat outside and did nt actually go inside, where there is seating. Will visit again, cup of tea was very good and competitive price. The awning outside is very good idea. The staff were very friendly. Opening times I am not aware of but it was open at 10am when we went in. Not open very long. Parking is outside the park, but not very far away from the cafe. Suitable for all persons and children. The menu is mostly for breakfast s. There is plenty of choice for drinks. There is plenty of seating outside and seating for 3tables inside. I have been a few times since and will keep going. Very dog friendly."

"This could be an absolute gem as the location is great in the park with so much footfall. Unfortunately it’s barely ever open, the food is all individually packaged with long dates on so nothing fresh, the coffee is good but it’s a very unwelcoming cafe. The toilet is full of stock, tools & kitchenware which is unhygienic and unsafe. The staff are not very friendly and quite inconsiderate. It’s such a shame, with the right owners and fresh food this place could be amazing."

"Situated at the main gates of a beautiful park, a great stop off for a drink or bite to eat whilst in the park, they are open year round and have seating indoors and out ( don't expect to escape the cold in winter its just as cold inside!) They have toilets and are wheel chair accessible. Basic menu but the food is good and prices fair, staff are always nice also!"
