"What a little hidden gem! Stumbled across this authentic Italian restaurant after seeing Pantoland at the Palladium and the Christmas lights at Libertys and Carnaby Street on my wife's birthday. Tiny restaurant with lovely friendly staff. Food arrived quickly and was top quality and very well priced. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experienc"
"Stumbled on this little gem after a hunt for somewhere to eat. So glad we took a chance as we were very well looked after. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for London. My daughter particularly enjoyed her pizza. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience rather than a chain imitation then I highly recommend a trip!"
"A small cozy place. Food was not too bad. Staff can be a bit more friendly."
"Here is my honest comment. In this restaurant, there are some things wrong. The owners didn't know I was Sicilian. Some dishes are delicious, others are completely missed and unworthy of an Italian restaurant. The decor is beautiful, simple but very Italian. The food, we liked the fact that they dare to offer seafood pizza (not something you get everywhere in England) and it is much appreciated. The caponata was very good - they serve it as a welcome gift with bread (the problem is that I had also ordered caponata as a starter, and there they hadn't thought to put bread in it). The negative points which unfortunately are too important! So important that we will never go back: - Pasta that is not homemade. It's silly when you know that homemade pasta is quick to make and much better! When I go to such a restaurant, I expect homemade food (otherwise I am able to buy pasta myself for 6 times cheaper than their price). - I ordered one dessert and got another! - The boss, put her fingers on my dessert and my husband's dessert, to cut the frozen dessert in 2 (in the Covid period, I find it quite disgusting). - The boss seems to want to make money at all costs! My 4-year-old son, who had had a big day, fell asleep half on his chair and half on top of me...and all of a sudden, the boss pushed my son's chair, without saying a word, and almost knocked him down! Why did he do this? Because he absolutely wanted to add a chair behind us, to accommodate a group of people who had just arrived in the restaurant. A rough person! Which makes you want to quickly flee this place! Families are not welcome there and neither are foreigners (I remind you that they did not know that I was Sicilian). I'm ashamed of the picture they can give of Italy. After having paid for this disastrous trip, the son of the boss "I think" tried to save the situation by offering us a Limoncello (but his boss/or mother, had forgotten to offer it to us, and asked his son 2 min later "Why are they still there?", which meant "Now that they've paid, let them clear the table, so that we can welcome other customers"...and his son had to remind him that we were waiting for the free Limoncello)... Politeness is important, manners too and homemade food too. They have neither. You will understand, do not go there."
"Small place. We had a table outside on the sidewalk. Seems to be a family run restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Both pastas we had were really nice. A bolognese ravioli and a salsiccia and broccoli."
