"Terrible food and service. The chicken in the soup wasn’t even marinated and it seems they just boiled chicken and put it inside the soup. Awful food, I wouldn’t go back there. Best to go Wagamama opposite which is where I should have gone for more decent food. The male waiter didn’t give good service and I thought he was rude."
"I went in with a friend to grab some lunch at 2pm on Tuesday 20th December, as we came in it seemed as though the waiter Jack (not sure if that's even his real name) did not want us to come in and immediately made us not feel so welcome. As he came to take our order (within minutes of sitting down) I asked him what the soft drinks options were, Jack then flippintly said you've just gone past the page, as I had not had a chance to look at the drinks menu I informed him that I would take a tap water, he took the drink menu and walked away and muttered something under his breath. That is when I had enough and explained to him that he had not made us feel welcome and muttered under his breath as he just walked away and also was rude when I asked where the soft drinks option was and i made the decision to leave. It's no wonder that the restaurant was completely empty and if you have service like that it's not going to bring customers in. So disappointing."
"Went for lunch with a friend after wanting to try the restaurant for a while. It's a cosy little place with less than 20 covers and had a friendly server in the front. The lunch menu of starter and main is excellent value. However I am deducting a couple of stars, from what otherwise would have been a 5 star rating, for an outrageous policy the restaurant has. They charge £1.20 for a tiny portion of Prik Nam Pla sauce which is an absolutely essential in my view for any Thai meal. It's like a burger restaurant charging for ketchup or mayonnaise and every other Thai restaurant I have been to gives it without charge, sometimes without even being asked. As there were two of us we ended up asking for two portions which cost us double. It's not enough to break the bank but spoils the experience as it's such a petty policy!"
"I love Thai food, and this restaurant has been a wonderful surprise! Loved it!! Three of us went for a lunch catch up social, and had booked some 2 weeks in advance, and got the best table in the house, and note this is a very small bistro! First great thing, the list of choices is so long, and you can go a la carte, or set-menu. We went for the latter, 3-course - which turned out to be the best choice! I had the teriaki skewers for starter, it came really quick, and had this peanut sauce that was dreamy! My friend had a soup, and gave me a taste, it was so good! I may ask for soup next time! My main was the low-risk green curry, which i asked very mild, and so it came! Absolutely Gorgeous green curry!!! my friends were more adventurous, and had all the kick of strong Thai spices in theirs! For dessert, I asked for this Thai Tea icecream, as my other friend had ordered Thai Tea as a drink, and it was a little like a milk shake, and she gave me a taste, so I decided to go for the icecream! Best decision! Thai Tea icecream is the best icecream I tasted! ^_^ This Bistro in Gloucester Road/South Kensington is a gem! Will definitely be coming back for more, and soon! :)"
"I ordered Pad Thai and Tom Kha with prawns. Very disappointing! The Tom Kha came without prawns! The taste of Pad Thai wasn’t right, the dish had some strange ingredients such a broccoli and green peas, almost no peanuts, no onion! The noodles were dry with a little souse. It was definitely not the Pad Thai… I was very disappointed, such a waist of money!"
