"Awful experience, had to wait ages to be served, waiters dismissive and rude. After finishing our mains we were asked if we wanted the dessert menu, 15 minutes later the bill is put on the table but we hadn’t even ordered. People were waiting for tables and waiters kept saying “they’ll be gone soon” despite us only being in the restaurant for 40/50 minutes. We finally received the dessert menu and before our order was taken the bill was again put on the table. Clearly restaurant is over booking tables, trying to hurry people up makes customers feel extremely uncomfortable and heard multiple other people complaining their food was taking too long. Food was average and overpriced"

"Best to book in advance - it was a Saturday. We stood queuing between the two rows of tables along with a number of others for 15 mins - all had booked. Food was pleasant but lacked spice. 3 attempts to get our drink order right. Basically their popularity and small restaurant works against them. Shame, as the staff there were nice."

"Went to this restaurant tonight was very disappointed, me my wife and 8 year old daughter. Portion was small and bland also very expensive for a curry house 6.95 a pint. There are much better quality restaurants in Shenfield. The only reason they didn't get 1 star is because the guys working there were faultless."

"Wow this pace loves a cardamon pod! Bit into a good few, and also spotted a few more of the little buggers hiding in the rice too. The food is well below average, small portions and very bland indeed which was disappointing. To top it off, I had to keep getting up to close the door after customers left it open. Suggestion, remove the door catch as in cold weather its really not pleasant for the customers. They clearly wanted us out towards the end as the lights started going off. We wont be returning, there are far better places around that respect and deserve the business."

"Great prawn starter tonight. I've been several times and I like the waiting crew and would recommend their specials if you choose spicier dishes. I'm told the Californian Sav. Blanc was a good choice though I had Kobra."
