"Had this yesterday night. My new favourite curry in the area by a long shot, best was Anglo Spice before... Went for the Chicken Korma, massive pieces of chicken, great portion size, tasty sauce. Mint sauce colour was a vibe. If I had to be really picky, I'd say Onion Bahjii was slightly too salty, and the cardamom in the Pilau could be toned down slightly, as was a little overpowering. Having said this, would 100 percent order again. Good job Curry Cartel!"
"Microwave rice for sure. Made me feel unsure about the rest. Sagg pannear possible microwave too, the spinach was not fresh, previously frozen for sure"
"Moved into our Dalston flat a few weeks ago and just finished our first order from Curry Cartel. Easily one of if not *the* best Indian takeaways I’ve had. The chicken tikka was beautifully succulent, the skin-on new potato saag aloo was superb and the roti and peshwari naan were each flawless. Highly recommended ps The delivery driver was lovely too."
"really divine curry form curry cartel this evening the naan (coconut) was actually amazing - best i’ve had rice was super fresh and not too oily - full of flavour chicken tikka masala was a solid 9/10 good chicken chunks in the sauce. not only that but there was a good amount of chicken. i feel like usually you don’t get much chicken from other curry houses packaging was also really good - not plastic containers which usually just end up stocking up in the drawer mango chutney was pretty average - mint sauce was yum! would go again"
"First and foremost the service that I received was exceptional. I was talked through the menu as I wanted to know what I would enjoy the most according to my taste and preferences. I could tell the front of house staff was very passionate about their menu and the back story of their products. The help I received really helped me get the most delicious Indian food I've tried in the longest time. I absolutely loved the Tandoori Poussin, the flavour was beautiful. Deliciously cooked and was very succulent. The Chicken Vindaloo was spicy and exactly what I want in a vindaloo. I also ordered the Keralan Garlic Chilli which didn't lack in spices, peppers or chillis. Their Naughty Naan was something very different and I enjoyed that as a dessert at the end of my meal. The condiments that came with the poppadoms were a twist on the typical condiments that you get. I was also told that their spices are made in house from whole spices and made into their own unique blends which I could tell from the taste of their food. I also have to mention that the packaging is very good and didn't leak like some Indian takeaways do when you bring them home. They were heat sealed which also meant that food was piping even once I got it home. I honestly cannot wait to go back. I would definitely recommend ordering from them :) (pics uploaded include other products that I ordered from them)"
