"Went before show due heavy rain . Ordered Veg platter got meat on it The chilli chicken had lumps on chicken pieces which were uncooked. Complained to owner who waved his hands and got angry and frustrated. He gave the bill with the curry .I refused so he eventually revised it . Waiter was great and understanding."
"Will avoid eating here again when in London. Food was fine, that's not the problem. Despite an almost empty restaurant, service was slow and unwelcoming. There wasn't a shortage of staff, so not sure what was wrong here. We asked about dietary requirements and were told one thing, then at the point of ordering, chosen dishes were then apparently not suitable despite original advice. Ordered something else. Asked for dishes to be served without the fresh coriander garnish, but they were served with it. Didn't complain. No idea if they usually offer coffee or desserts because after mains we weren't asked. The server was really rude, inattentive with us and yet polite, laughing and joking with the table next to us. Then he actually told us (when we were still drinking our orders) he needed the table then and there and rushed us out without warning. Pretty unbelievable, considering we were quick to eat etc and it was the service which was slow...hence the restaurant filling up around us. Not impressed at all."
"Lovely meal out. Some of the most delicious Indian food I've had in a while. Highly recommend, in the heart of Theatreland."
"Went here after a seeing a show with my sister. It was late, but they were very accommodating. Food was brilliant and hot. I had a king prawn curry. Prices were average for London. And even though we were the last out of the restaurant the staff were still really pleasant. Oh, and their house white wine was gorgeous!"
"If you are ever in London city centre you have to visit this place. My husband had been previously and raves about the lamb chops so we thought let’s go and see if it is still as good! It really was! The staff were so friendly and found us a table right away. Funny thing was when we walked in I was having a panic attack and sweating like crazy! They brought me some iced water and don’t make a fuss of me acting a little strangely. We ordered tandoori lamb chops, garlic and chilli chicken, sag aloo, pilau rice and garlic Nan. Honestly the lamb chops were outstanding. I am not a lover of lamb really but gimme those ones every day! Everything else was fantastic but my favourite was the man bread! It was so light and crispy and full of flavour. We ordered another! The total bill was just over £50 and definitely worth it. Our waiter was lovely, very attentive and professional. We had a great night out and will definitely visit next time we are in town. Thank you so much to all of the staff x"
