Reviews
"Tasty food and not overly expensive. Lots of vegan items on the menu. Everything flavourful, nicely spiced, and the servings are generous and satisfying. The "paper dosa" is a huge cone of thin, crisp, rice-and-lentil pancake. There are vegetarian and vegan wines available. Popular place, even on a Monday evening. Closed between 3:00 and 5:30 pm, open for lunch and for dinner."
"We have done probably 12 to 15 take outs from this place over the last two years. We have been disappointed every single time. Today, we ordered our final meal from this place. We are done. We kept coming back only because no other Indian restaurant offered a wide range of vegan food like these guys and we didn't have a choice. From now on, we are going to rely on allplants or planty for 'those' days. Reasons for disappointment: 1. Extremely oily and greasy (most probably from reused oil used for frying things) 2. Stale food at least on 6-7 different occasions where at least one or two items we order tastes "off" and we can tell it's gone "off" and spoiled 3. Unfriendly folks and awful customer service 4. Stomach always feels unsettled after eating here and we know why (unhealthily greasy food) 5. Idli's are a hit or a miss. Most times it's reheated and hard 6. Salty food too but that's a common theme in most restaurants anyway 7. Excessive use of unnecessary plastic-ware and no steps taken to reduce environmental impact. The last photo shows the number of plastic containers we received tonight for an order of One Vegan Thali. It took me 20 minutes to clean the grease and oil off with boiling hot water so I can recycle the containers. How can one's stomach digest this much grease? Coupled with the leaching of micro-plastics?"
"Simply delicious! The unique taste of spices combined with wisdom and craftsmanship with top quality ingredients produce absolutely original dishes that honor South Indian cuisine. Absolutely must try!"
