"I have used Midas BBQ since it opened and continue to use it. There are now a large number of Turkish restaurants and takeaways in the area, so competition is fierce! Menu wise it is pretty much standard fayre with a few specials including Iskender Kebab and Halep Kebab and Yoghurt Shish and Adana kebabs. Serving wise it is sometimes different than you expect, with the salad being serverd separately in poly containers, sauces served in separate poly pots and the bread is proper turkish flatbread, not pita pockets. The kebab meat is served on a bed of rice. With everything separate, it allows you to serve your food the way you want to! For eating on the go, I recommend the wraps, which are put together and ready to eat and made to order with whatever salad /sauce combination you want. These are quite filling and very tasty. Access to the shop is quite easy, pretty much straight in from the public carpark, as long as you can find a parking space.. it is not too bad in the evenings, but daytimes are busy. On the whole I find the standard of food fairly consistant, and the price pretty much in-line with most takeaway outlets, which have risen dramatically over the past year (no doubt due to rising fuel and utility prices), generally budget for about £10 a head for most individual meals, more if you want sides and less for kids meals / burgers. Best value are the shareing platters.. I have never found portions to be an issue there. Another bonus is that unlike many takeaways, they accept card payments here. I usually find that delivery times can be variable depending on how busy they are are, but, not being far away, it is usually nice and hot still when it arrives. Also having the kebab components separate means they travel better too with the salad separate staying cool and crisp and not getting warm and soggy. I can see from some previous comments that some others have had either meals that were not to their expectation, or not to their taste, or had bits missing etc, but it is inevitable that sometimes mistakes can happen. However, for the time I have used Midas, the overall experience continues to be a positive one and because of that they continue to enjoy my patronage."

"Bad quality food, burgers arrived cold and burnt. There was also missing items from the order. This review has been prompted by the fact this is the second time I’ve experienced poor service from this business. The response from the manager was that as the order was delivered by Uber eats, I should contact them for a refund. He felt it wasn’t his fault or issue to deal with, despite me reminding him that it was not Uber eats that cooked the poor standard food or prepared it ready for delivery. I wanted to support this local business but it seems they themselves don’t care and uphold poor standards."

"Use them at least twice a week and always been excellent. Tonight was our standard order which was all the same price as normal, but arrived with no rice and the Turkish bread was now a plain pitta. Upon calling them it was confirmed that they were trying something new...I think it's called "saving them money" by giving me 5 bits of chicken on a small bed of lettuce. To be fair they sent rice after but by that point had eaten most the meal and the rice was also not as tasty as normal. Not sure we will rush back if it will stay as pitta bread and the same rice we got tonight."
