"Delicious authentic Indian food! I have been here atleast 5 times now, and hence I’m here to give a comprehensive review. My personal favourite here is rasmalai cake (I would give 100 stars for just this dish, not joking!) and nihari biryani is great too. All starters were amazing, with “mumbaiya pepper zinga” and “lamb chops” as shows toppers. In-house cocktails “cosmopolitan” and “lychee gulab martini” are awesome!! Not had anything as such anywhere else. All the dishes I tried here had perfectly balanced Indian flavours that’s suits anybody’s taste. Pricing is a bit on the high end, but I would say the food quality and portion size is well worth the price. Ambience here is classy and the vibe suits any mood. It is well located in the heart of chingford mount and easy to acces via public transport or private vehicles. Staff is well mannered and respectful. Service is good and wait times for food are just as they are in any other fancy restaurant. It’s better to reserve a table before you go, as this place can get quite busy, specially during dinner time on weekends. It’s a good place for any occasion, may it be a family gathering or a first date. There is no specific dress code but usually everyone is dressed smart-casual. As an icing on the cake, this place is also a picture-perfect place for your snaps or insta posts. I’ve added some photos I took, you can have a look and decide for yourself. Overall, it’s a great choice to get yourself a satisfying food treat!"
"Great ambiance. Welcoming and friendly staff, especially Sai. We were a group if 15 who visited a week ago. Best place to visit if you're missing home food. Dahi poori, chilli paneer, mogo, vegetarian dum biryani n Virgin mojito are my personal favourites among what we ordered. Dum Biryani is the best for spice lovers and the way it was presented is too good. Would love to visit again."
"The restaurant was empty when we walked in and looked really good, the seats are very comfortable. The service started off very good but then declined slightly where we had to start waving our hands to gain the waitress's attention even though the place was empty but she was friendly. The food came out very fast and i was not disappointed. The food was nice especially the starters, the mains and desert were mediocre, the naan bread was really nice and fresh. Everything was presented beautifully. It was definitely worth the price. I will be visiting again to try some of the other items on the menu."
"Was taken here by a very good Indian friend, no better recommendation than that! Mixed grill was lovely, Lamb Rogan Josh was fantastic meat melted in your mouth. Dhal was lovely along with chilli nans. Home made ice cream for desert is a must. Staff was very friendly and added to a lovely evening. Good bar selection. Restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. Has a interesting separate lunch menu. Definitely worth a visit."
"We were only in London for a couple of days and we searched to eat Indian Food. Mumbai Maska is the place we chosed. We went to the restaurant on Thursday and were greeted straight away and taken to the table. The service was very good and the food was extremely tasteful. There was a good variety on the menu. I have been to a number of Indian restaurants in London city centre and this is comparable. It is also very reasonably priced. I had a very good lamb and the vegetables were clearly fresh and the taste of the sauce had flavour and not too much oil floating around which is what normally happens in some restaurants and spoils the taste. I would highly recommend Mumbai Maska. This restaurant i would also recommend for events as they have a nice space with a bar service"
