"jollof has 0 flavour, just tomato rice very bland really disappointed"
"The food in this restaurant is so tasty. I cannot help going back since I discovered they have been around as a food shop for well over 20 years and making meat pies for 35. (Perhaps before they opened the shop officially). The pounded yam tasted like it was pounded real yam. But she explained that it’s because she uses premium product. My kids absolutely loved the okro with mixed meat and egusi vegetable. It had cuts of tender beef, ponmo, shaki. A good amount of meat actually plus tomato stew on top. The Jollof rice we got was delicious and so was the fried rice. Also bought some grilled tilapia and fried red fish. All in all my family and I are very please with all the food we buy from Flaky hence the 5 stars. I cannot wait to dive into the meat pies I am picking up today for my son who just moved to London for Uni. He will also be so delighted when he sees the okro with soup and mixed meat because he really liked it last time and some egusi again with pounded yam. Thank you so much Flaky. It is a delight to see an African restaurant be so organised and serving the public with good quality food. First time I ordered was on justeat. Now I order and just pick it up myself when I am coming from far away because I actually live on the outskirts of Oxford. Best wishes Kenny Wilkins"
"I have no idea how they mange to get licence to sell food here. They are selling same food 3-4 days until they finished. Very bad taste food."
"I love this place. The jollof rice, chicken leg, fried plantain and spinach are absolutely delicious. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Excellent restaurant, friendly service, clean premises."
"Really delicious African and Caribbean food, a real taste of the area too with all sorts of people coming and going."
