"Good food reasonable nice decor and the staff were brilliant"
"Today we went at 5.30pm to the Siam, it was our second choice as the Shippons was full all evening. When we arrived there was no one there, we ordered of the menu as they had stopped serving all you can eat for £20 a head. We both ordered hot prawn soup, it was spiced milk with 4 prawns in each at £6.50 each it literally looked like milk, there was no complimentary prawn crackers at this very inflated price and it was in a small bowl at £13 for two bowls it was absolutely yuk. We explained to the young waiter that the flavour was not nice and he obviously relayed this back to the manager who basically did not care. No alternative was offered. We had already ordered our main meals which where where beef in black bean £9.70 and my other half ordered beef schezuan £17 we then had to order rice for £3.20 a portion as it came with no rice so one meal was exceeding £20!! Other was approx £13 plus. Well it was smaller than a child's portion and total bill for food was just below £50. The manager did not remove the soups nor did he apologise, for portion size but I am sure weights and measures would disagree as don't be foole off the menu or banquet which they stopped doing are the same tiny portions. We both left and came home for something to eat. due to minimum portions, on leaving I explained the above and the manager stood back whilst his smarmy cashier took the money. We paid and explained we won't be going back, we now know why the resteraunt was still empty at 8pm but the shippons was full all evening. Siam you will be closed soon unless you get a grip £20 plus for one person meal that we could have got from a takeaway would have done two off us for £6. I can't believe anyone would sell that surely you want people to come back again or do you?? Your arrogance shrines out brightly."
"We can't wait to come back and have the wonderful food you produce. Every visit was excellent, our family really enjoy eating at this restaurant, the food is fresh and people working there are so polite. If you have never been before I would recommend the buffet on a Sunday to sample the different types of dishes they provide. I gave them five stars because you can not fault them. Thank you."
"I had a takeaway the other day comprising of a starter of Toon Tong and a main of Moo Kara. The starter was enjoyable in terms of taste and texture but I was disappointed with the main which was pretty dry and ordinary in flavour. I am lucky enough to eat Thai food on a regular basis. It is invariably more expensive than many other cuisines but for me this was not special enough for the price premium."
"Is a beautiful restaurant and has lovely decorations in the restaurant. The food is amazing and I recommend the Thai Green curry because it is spicy but delicious! The staff are very nice since I have been there a lot of times. On a Sunday they have a buffet with all kinds of food to eat & also changes food each Sunday. I think it is the best Asian restaurant I've ever been to."
