"I have been going to the halfway since the 70s when the Connahs Quay Nomads were in the back garden. Its not a bad pub, been there for over 100 years in various guises (check your old maps). Had a few giggles once when the pub cat escaped into the bar and leapt up to lick my plate clean :D which led to some laughs as the staff tried to catch puss. Overall not a bad place and grub not bad either. had a couple of bad meals and a fair few great ones too, cant moan."
