"Booked a table in advance for a small party of 6. To be honest I’ve been here before twice with one other and service and food were both great. The food this time round was quite good, however on this occasion I was quite disappointed as the service was extremely slow and questionable. We had our table booked from 6.30pm and didn’t end up leaving til 10.30pm. Each round of drinks and food was slow. The waitress however was wonderful and polite but can’t overlook sitting at the table for that long. The steak tartar we ordered was premixed out of sight , we ordered two portions. Every other table near us had theirs mixed table side so I don’t understand why ours was different. We also ordered 4 crème brûlées which tasted very eggy and overcooked. We mentioned this to the waitress but she said that is the way it is supposed to taste. She had spoken to her manager who didn’t even come to speak to us and asked her to relay the message. We were very disappointed in this reaction since we would have been happy for it to be remade and I’ve had this dish previously from them and it did not taste this bad. We didn’t eat 3/4 of the desserts. We assumed it’s because they didn’t want to remove it from our bill or discount it due to our party size. We left still wanting something sweet, I guess that is fair to say."
"The lunch set menu was really good value and excellent quality. Loved the Prawn Cocktail on toast, and the Pan Fried Seabass with a lemon and butter sauce, these were perfect and I’d highly recommend them! Also we enjoyed the Duck Rillettes and Brevette Steak buried under a pile of shallots. All washed down with a pleasant Carafe of enjoyable House red, we’ll definitely be back for more again soon."
"Cosy atmosphere and delicious French cuisine. However, I could not give 5 stars as we were forgotten by the staff and had to chase up our order twice due to the incredibly slow service. It was a Saturday night and not very busy, so not sure what happened there."
"Enjoyed the dinner, we love all the dishes Classic French dish, Cassoulet, you should try it if not yet My personal favourite is risotto, taste just about right. Creamy but not too rich to finish the whole dish Soufflé was sold out so ordered Breizh instead. It is a big surprise and I am really happy that soufflé sold out. It comes big portion…I ended up having too much that night It is a bit expensive, 132 for 3 people. But The overall experience is good and food are tasty The service is good, but I can feel they were rushing to get our bill checked (they’ve been waiting and we sit 20 minutes after the close time)"
