"This is more like a smart cafe than a formal restaurant with a family friendly ambience. When we were here, there were plenty of people with children around (Saturday 530pm). We got a max platter, which was always going to be more food than we needed for two adults and two children but would be perfect for four adults. The meats were excellent and we went for rice instead of chips which was good as an extra. Definitely very good value for money and the quality of the food is as good as many of the more upmarket Turkish restaurants in nearby areas."
"This is a good calibre Turkish restaurant, with delicious food and big portions, that is appropriately priced. Whenever I have eaten from here, I've never been disappointed. Today, I met a friend for a long overdue catch up. Our server Mada was absolutely amazing at recommending dishes to us (Grilled Sea Bream served with Salad). She even jazzed up our Baklava with chocolate sauce and made it an altogether wonderful experience. You won't be disappointed at this place and give Mada a high five! We went on a rainy Thursday evening, hence the 3 stars for atmosphere (not many people were out and about)...but this place is usually busy at weekends."
"Ordered a takeaway this evening via uber eats where upon when i received the order the salad that came with my dinner was horrific and definitely not edible. It seems like this was last weeks salad that we were given. I called Melissa straight away where the customer service was absolutely poor. They were like our salad is fresh everyday. Even after specking to them they did not offer any alternative or not even an apology apart from are you sure. Terrible.."
"We ordered the melissa special for 2. The shish was tender and juicy, the Donna and adonna were very tasty. The rice was also very flavorful. Comes with fresh flat bread and generous portion of salad. Love the chilli and yohurt as well. The calamari was very good, the batter was light and crispy and the calamari soft and good size. Service was courteous and friendly. We then had tiramisu to share. Sponge fingers were dry. Disappointing. We also had medium Turkish coffee which was fragrant and smooth. Turkish tea nothing to shout about. All in all a satisfying meal. Yums"
