Megan's at the Post Office Restaurant (Surbiton) 38 Victoria Road, Surbiton KT6 4JL

"First time at Megan's, an ex post office building with history and character in more ways than one! Absolutely heaving on arrival at 11ish Sat- so definately need to book a table as they were able to fit us in but only for 1 hr. Prompt service, yummy breakfast and lovely ambiance. Would return. Dogs welcomed- and treats and water by the entrance doors. Stairs to entrance and toilets downstairs in basement not sure if there are any disabled toilets or ramp."

"*Update* dedcuted one star as the last visit, the egg Benedict I ordered was way overcooked and it wasnt liquid York as you would expect. Please check my uploaded photo. To show it's inconsistencies, my friend ordered the same dish only his are perfectly cooked... Fantastic atmosphere and Trendy decor. Staffs are friendly and the restaurant offers a wonderful kids menu deal. For 4.50 you get a kids English breakfast and a glass of apple juice. Not concentrate ones, but actually freshly squeezed apple juice. I was impressed for sure. The down side was the Shakshouka we had was lukewarm and not piping hot as it should be. Would recommend this place though."

"Came in for lunch during half term with my son. Ordered an open lamb kebab on flatbread with feta, pickled veg, spicy hummus and it was absolutely beautiful. My son is very picky but there is a separate kids menu he ordered from and finished everything. Praise indeed ! He also had the apple juice which is freshly made and really tasty. The decor is beautiful and the staff were really lovely."

"A really lovely dinner experience. Popped in here for an unplanned dinner after a very difficult day and it really lifted my spirits. The food was delicious - we had the lamb and the chicken and halloumi mezzes - and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also just caught the end of happy hour which was well received. For desert, we shared a chocolate brownie which was heaven! Definitely would return!"

"Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid)."
