"Our visit here a month ago, the food was dreadful, sweetcorn soup was like dishwater. We decided to give it one last try today, wish we hadn't. The place today was absolutely rammed, I'm sure it's against safety standards. People walking past could hardly get past regularly getting bumped in the back, hardly a pleasant way to dine. The visit to the buffet involved a long queue, so rather than enjoying this visit, it became a chore. Then, when at the buffet, it was seldom fully stocked, resulting in bigger queues. The staff, have an attitude issue, most of them are nothing short of rude, ignorant and abrupt. One lady had put her partly full plate to the side while she added to another, and staff removed it, saying more food will come.. I had two finished plates, the waitress took one and left the other.. just poor This place used to be a 10/10 experience. Dining out isn't just about the food it's the whole experience.. relaxed and enjoying nice food, sadly today leaving there today was the highlight. It really will be a long time before we go there again. A real Shame"
"Whilst staying in "forest holidays " we nipped out, just up the road to the lovely restaurant. Food was so good the chicken was so tasty and good quality. Staff very welcoming. Well worth " nipping out !" Best sweet and sour chicken in a long time."
"May be the worst place I’ve ever eaten , Sunday all you can eat buffet, me and my family were not impressed. The food seating was so tight, the food was not very hot and very cheap ingredients. We always get a takeaway from this restaurant so we know the difference in the food taste and quality. The starters, only two available, soup or dry ribs. The main course was not very hot and about 4 different selections, the rice was bone dry and hard. And the desert was not replaced. We are very disappointed to spend our hard earned money at this location, I do believe for restaurants to succeed they need to provide good food and some sort of atmosphere."
"I wasn't impressed with this place. A group of us visited for a Sunday afternoon all you can eat buffet. The selection of dishes was very small, about 5 in total and were placed out on a small table at the back of the room. The staff did not replenish the food often enough, the dishes lacked flavour and seemed to be very basic ingredients. There was one starter - chicken and sweetcorn soup that tasted like water. The selection of deserts was banana fritters and a dry chocolate cake. The drinks prices were very expensive and seemed to be made up on the spot, we were charged £5 for 2 small kids orange cordials, £4.50 for a pint of coke and £7.20 for a 'large' red wine! We didn't argue the toss, just wanted to get out and not come back."
"We stumbled on this place as the Chinese which we had originally booked disappointed us. We were really impressed with the friendly staff, the superb service and the quality of the food. We would definitely recommend this place and would return in the future. Thank you for a memorable visit and for my birthday chopsticks. A much appreciated, thoughtful touch."
