"First time visiting since they've opened, and can imagine why they're always fully booked... Went for lunch, and from the moment we walked in, the staff were brilliant. Friendly, attentive, accommodating, apologetic (some items not available or delayed), and quick. The food was delicious and presented well. The hummus was different and big enough for two. The beef wellington was excellent. The cocktails were worth the trip in themselves. I recommend the Smoking Tractor. That smokey flavour lasts from the first sip to the last, and the 24 Carrot Magic was deliciously fresh. Can't wait to go again."
"I have watched as Ewe has renovated the building over the last few months, then last week I had a reason to visit. Everything from myside went wrong and I ended up eating alone as I was there a day early. The staff were so understanding and served me and chatted to me also then offered to book the table for the next day. They all had smiles on their faces and couldn't do enough to help me. I enjoyed every minute I was in there, even if I was on my own! The food was fresh and very tasty.. i will definitely go back."
"Enjoying half price offer for some of the dishes and starters with my family yesterday. But, quite a number of dishes did not have half price offer. The restaurant itself looked great and high class, it provided english fusion cuisine. Among the dishes we got, the fish and chips dish was the best of the day. What a shame, I forgot to take photo of the fish and chips. Never mind, we have already booked to visit again late this month, I will definitely have fish and chips again."
"Visited Ewe today with a couple of friends, I was dubious due to the reviews however I had a pleasant experience. Having been to this venue a lot of the years when its been previous restaurants I didn't know what to expect, but you can see they've really made an effort to bring their own theme to the premises. Our table was booked for 12.30pm so I'd say the custom was steady. We were taken to our table by a lady on reception, then our waitress introduced herself. She was very friendly and took our order for drinks and then food fairly promptly. We ordered two of the steak frites and a pizza, I'd say that was with us within 20 minutes. I had the steak frites and it was really tasty, the dressing was lovely and a decent portion of fries. I was happy to pay £19 for the quality. I did ask for french mustard but I think the other waitress who served us may have forgotten, I wasn't too fussed though and I'm sure if I'd have asked again they'd have brought it. Some items on the menu were a bit pricey and I think £5 for a side is a bit steep, however I don't think it's much different at the Cherry Tree, for example. I would certainly return and would hope to have the same experience, as long as the service is good and the food standard stays high then I'm sure Ewe will be a success. I certainly like nice places to go nearby as going to Manchester and such places can get expensive! It's nice to have a restaurant/bar like this within a 10 minute taxi ride :)"
