"Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in! Staff very friendly and quick service! Someone did stand over the table with the card machine very soon after us receiving the bill, so felt a little pressured to exit! Food was lovely but pasta was quite oily so I couldn't really eat what was on the bottom of the dish. Had to soak it up with a napkin.."
"Absolutely authentic experience from start to finish. From the Italian family welcome at the door to the flourish of ground pepper, this place delivered on every front. Watching the chef work the pizza dough reminded me of everything that is great about Italian traditions. Real gem and should not be missed."
"Step inside this restaurant and you feel you are in Italy already! We loved our food and were very happy to see they provided smaller portions for many of the dishes which allowed us to try more things. The service was perfect and very quick until the point that we finished our food. Not sure why after that even though they could see we were waiting for getting the bill and paying, we had to wait for more than 15 minutes, so one star is dropped for that. Also, they did not accept tips by card which was strange given that it's a family-run business. Still, I'd definitely recommend the place for its cosy Italian vibe and great food."
"Massive portions, great tasting food. We visited on a busy Friday night but we were straight to our booked table. Fast, friendly service, we were never left waiting. Only negative is that tips given by card are not passed on to the staff. I don't like that...."
"From the very first warm welcome to the smiling handshake from Marco saying goodnight, this has to be one of the friendliest - and authentically Italian - restaurants anywhere. The ambience inside is typical of a trattoria, all bustle and laughter. The seating is close together but this again just adds to the authenticity. There is a good wine selection available but the house red was pleasant and cheap. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish, both came quickly, freshly cooked, piping hot, delicious, and really huge. In the kitchen we could see the chefs spinning pizza dough by hand. Can't wait to visit again!"
